Miri Park, O.D.
Dr. Miri Park has an O.D. degree from the SUNY College of Optometry and a B.S. degree in Biology from SUNY Stony Brook. After graduating with her O.D. degree, she completed a residency program at the V.A. Hospital in Montrose, NY, concentrating in geriatric care and ocular pathology. Dr. Park published in professional journals on eye health issues during her residency. Upon completion of her residency Dr. Park opened her own practice in Flushing (Queens), NY and was a part-time clinical professor at the SUNY College of Optometry. After moving to Sharon in 1995, Dr. Park has been a part-time independent optometrist working with various offices both locally and in Boston.
Dr. Park has been very active in the community and in the Sharon Public School system. She has been active with the elementary schools, has been Co-President of the Sharon Middle School PTSO, supported the ADL programs at the Sharon High School and Middle School, and has served on a number of town committees and boards. She lives in Sharon with her husband, Gene Kim, and their four daughters.
